Update | May 2015
Dear friends and family,
Things have hit a bit of a rough patch here in Europe. After our Club Beyond Spring Staff Conference at the beginning of May, we were asked to spend a few days at the Club Beyond Service Center in Germany for meetings, appointments, and more waiting as our paperwork continues to be sorted out. As it turns out, we must stay in Germany until our paperwork is fixed.
All Club Beyond activity in Brussels is at a stand-still until we get the green light from the Belgian government. Temporarily, we’re unable to pursue the middle and high school students we prayed and prepared so long for, and we don’t know how long we will have to wait for our clearance. It could be as soon as a few days or as long as a few weeks. In the meantime, we’re helping out at the Club Beyond Service Center and brainstorming creative ways that we can serve the military community when we are finally cleared to head to Brussels.
We’re so thankful for the many families we’ve stayed with since leaving Colorado, and we can’t wait to have a home someday soon. We would very much appreciate prayer for this situation, patience, peace, and reliance on God.
“Then let us arise and go up to Bethel, so that I may make an altar to the God who answers me in the day of my distress and has been with me wherever I have gone.” - Genesis 35:3
